Join us in the glorious setting of the vineyard here at Oaken Grove to enjoy Shakespeare’s most popular bantering couple – Beatrice and Benedick. Hilariously awkward in each other’s presence, their witty repartee leads to love – with a little help from their friends.

Throw in a delightfully conniving baddie to create mischief, a young and naïve but dashing couple and the out-of-their-depth local police force and you have the recipe for a truly delightful bit of theatrical escapism.

Bear in the Air Productions are an award-nominated theatre company who bring you their talented troupe of travelling players for the benefit of your local area.

The vineyard’s bar will be open throughout the evening serving a selection of wines from the vineyard plus local beers, non-alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. Please refrain from bringing any glass bottles into the vineyard.

This event will be outdoors on grass, so we encourage you to bring your own chair or picnic blanket. Some chairs may be available at the venue, but this is not guaranteed.

There is no allocated seating. Parking is located on Benhams Lane, below the main entrance.
